A seized screw usually needs a shock along the axis of the fastener before it needs torque. The Impacta carries the blade right through the handle to a steel cap, so it can be struck with a hammer to break the joint loose without damaging the tool.
The hex bolster below the handle takes a wrench, which lets you add real torque immediately after the strike while the fastener is still moving. That combination of shock then torque, without changing tools, is what gets corroded machine screws out.
Strike the cap only. Striking any driver without a through-tang will split the handle and can drive the tang back through it.

Warranty covers defects in material and manufacture only. It does not cover normal wear, consumable items, corrosion, or damage caused by using a tool outside its stated capacity or for a purpose it is not designed for. Where a product page states a specific exclusion, that exclusion applies.
Making a claim

We ship with Canada Post, UPS, Purolator. Delivery is free on orders over $149.00; below that a flat rate of $14.95 applies. Tracking is emailed when the label is created.
Returns
Unused items in original packaging may be returned within 30 days. Sharpening stones that have been wetted, abrasives that have been opened, and saw blades removed from their sleeve cannot be returned for hygiene and condition reasons unless faulty.
