A monocrystalline diamond surface electroplated to a perforated steel plate. The perforations collect swarf so the surface does not clog, and the plate stays flat indefinitely, which is why this doubles as the lapping plate for your waterstones.
Diamond will cut abrasion-resistant steels that a natural or ceramic stone struggles with. Use it wet or dry; water keeps the surface clear.
Every waterstone dishes, and a dished stone rounds over the bevel you are trying to flatten. If you own waterstones you need one of these or an equivalent.

Making a claim
Contact us at support@exelprod.com or (000) 000-0000 with your order number and a photograph of the fault. We handle the claim with the manufacturer on your behalf; you do not deal with them directly.

Dispatch
In-stock items are dispatched within 1–2 business days of order. Orders placed before 14:00 ET on a business day are picked the same day. This item is a special order with a lead time of 2–3 weeks; it is ordered from the maker on receipt of your order.
Carriers
We ship with Canada Post, UPS, Purolator. Delivery is free on orders over $149.00; below that a flat rate of $14.95 applies. Tracking is emailed when the label is created.
Returns
Unused items in original packaging may be returned within 30 days. Sharpening stones that have been wetted, abrasives that have been opened, and saw blades removed from their sleeve cannot be returned for hygiene and condition reasons unless faulty.
